Our president, Leslie M. Yee, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P., has many years experience in leading global health systems operations and cross-functional teams. Until 2009, he served for almost fifteen years as the chief medical officer for a multinational corporation with extensive manufacturing and R&D operations, over $80 billion of sales, and over 138,000 employees in over 80 countries. He is a creative thinker with many years contributing to internal and external work groups, including those with government policy-setting involvement.

Dr. Yee's specialized expertise includes
Disaster Preparedness and Response management that minimized casualties and business interruptions.
      -  His participation in aircraft crash investigations has provided him with the unique experience and knowledge to assist multinational corporations and other large organizations in their Disaster Preparedness and Business Continuity Planning.  The recommendations of a F-15 jet fighter crash investigation in which he participated, were immediately implemented in all U.S. Air Force F-15 operations worldwide.
Health & Performance Management that reduced health care costs and enhanced employee productivity, health, and wellness.
International Health systems management, with assignments and business travel to over 30 countries, including 20 cities in BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China).
New Business Development in the Health & Wellness sector.
Product Stewardship, including Risk Communication leadership, that prevented consumer/government misperceptions of product safety from driving decreased sales/profits, litigation, and regulatory restrictions.

Dr. Yee also served for over ten years in the U.S. Air Force, providing medical support to F-15 fighter, SR-71 spyplane, pararescue, SCUBA, hyperbaric chamber, and other military operations in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.A., maintaining a TOP SECRET security clearance throughout his military career.  His extensive training included qualification in the SR-71's full-pressure suit (derived from NASA's Gemini spacesuit). He concluded his military service on the faculty of the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine.
